Global Data Governance Specialist

This is a key position within our Issues Management Operations Team
The team is responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of financial crimes compliance issues program in accordance with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Escalation and Issue Management Standard, for locations globally including:
- Identification of responsive issues management data and information;
- Research and coordination with appropriate stakeholders to provide the most accurate information possible in support of these engagements; and
- Development of data, analyses, reports, and presentation materials.
To excel in this role, you will need to gain a deep understanding of the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework and develop subject matter expertise regarding Issues Management policy, standard, and procedures.
You will also be required to create/maintain detailed process documentation for GFCD IM Data Management processes and support the GFCD IM Teams to provide the most accurate information possible in support of these engagements, including the development of data, analyses, and presentation materials.
Key Responsibilities- Gaining familiarity with the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework;
- Developing subject matter expertise regarding Issues Management policy, standard, and procedures;
- Creating/maintaining detailed process documentation for GFCD IM Data Management processes;
- Supporting the GFCD IM Teams to provide the most accurate information possible in support of these engagements, including the development of data, analyses, and presentation materials.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Compliance, Risk Management or related areas;
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Team player with willingness to learn, take initiative, and work hard;
- Good work ethics with strong verbal and written communication skills;
- BBA / BA / BS Degree required.
