API Tester Job Description
We are seeking an experienced API Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on APIs.

Job Description

As an API Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our APIs. This will involve creating test cases, executing tests, and reporting defects. You will also collaborate with our development team to resolve issues and improve the overall performance of our APIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Strong hands-on experience with Karate API testing framework (and optionally Selenium, Appium)
* Experience in API automation, data-driven testing, and BDD (Gherkin syntax)
* Good programming knowledge in Java
* Familiarity with software development lifecycle, version control (Git), CI/CD, and defect management tools (JIRA, Jenkins)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
