Job Overview.

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you'll play a critical role in shaping our strategic sourcing initiatives and driving value for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Category Manager in developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
  • Lead vendor qualification activities to ensure compliance with our procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and contractualize agreements with key suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders on procurement activities and spend analysis.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • 4-7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and legislation, as well as service contracts and external worker regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to travel internationally, including offshore.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) processes, systems, and best practices, especially in a Procure to Pay (P2P) context.
  • Knowledge of External workforce and risk associated.
  • Understanding of service contracts and external worker regulations.
  • Labor Law expertise/background.
  • Knowledge of external worker procedures and regulations.
