Job Title: Network Administration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in network administration to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in network monitoring, firewall management, and device configuration.

They will also be responsible for access and user management, load balancer operations, and incident and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor ISP, DC, DR, MPLS, and P2P links on an hourly and daily basis.
  • Generate availability and utilization reports.
  • Prepare and maintain network device inventory.
  • Firewall & Security Operations:
  • Manage firewall access across DC, DR, MPLS, and Cloud environments.
  • Implement IP whitelisting and block malware IPs as per SOC guidelines.
  • Review and update firewall rule bases.
  • Monitor NIPS/IPS logs and deploy security signatures.
  • Device Configuration & Backup:
  • Perform backups and restore network devices in DC, DR, HO, and NDR environments.
  • Modify VLAN settings on L2 switches.
  • Reset network device passwords.
  • Access & User Management:
  • Deactivate domain IDs and VPN access for users based on their role.
  • Conduct admin access reviews and generate reports.
  • Load Balancer Operations:
  • Configure and backup load balancers.
  • Create new application rules.
  • Incident & Change Management:
  • Handle Level 1 incidents via email and phone communication.
  • Prepare and implement RFCs.
  • Coordinate with OEM for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Cloud & Virtualization Awareness:
  • Have exposure to AWS and Azure firewalls and security features.
  • Understand ACI/AVS switch installation concepts.
