Job Title: Network Engineer

This role involves overseeing network incidents, changes, and problems to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

  • Manage network issues by implementing effective solutions and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Provide technical support for IT queries and information, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily network monitoring to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and review network reports on change, capacity, and incident management to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to network projects and Proof of Concept (POC) new technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Submit reports as per business requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Audit network configuration according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Technical Proficiency:

We require a basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and switching and SD-WAN management.

  • Hands-on expertise in switching and SD-WAN management is essential.

Familiarity with network hardware and protocols, as well as knowledge of basic network troubleshooting tools, is necessary for this role.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Telecommunications is required.
  • Certifications - CCNA, NNCIA, VCP are desirable.
  • A strong grasp of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies is essential.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools is necessary.
