We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions for our clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver functionality for our Private Market clients. Our market-leading software-as-a-service is hosted on AWS and enables our customers to analyze their investments. You will combine your passion for technology with your client focus to build complex software solutions.

About the Role

You will be working in a Private Markets development team currently operating out of India, the UK, and the USA. The team is part of the larger Private Capital technology team, where all members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

The Impact

Improving the functionality and ease of use for our customers to manage an increasingly complex portfolio of investments will enable us to retain existing clients and grow our client base to drive new revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Be the go-to person on the team for all net C back-end system design and implementation
  • Produce high-quality, maintainable, tested code that solves business and operational requirements
  • Demonstrate your passion for good software engineering practices and architecture and share that knowledge with the team
  • Mentor and upskill junior back-end developers on the team through pair programming and code reviews
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies, contributing to estimation and retrospectives to improve how the team works
  • Provide ongoing operational support to the systems the team builds and provide input on how to improve how we run and operate our systems
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a skilled software engineer with experience in working in high-performing software development teams. Strong understanding and experience building applications in C# using .NET 6 or 8, understanding of REST API-based services, both development and testing, understanding of service-based and serverless architectures and the challenges they can present, good understanding of containerized applications with Docker and cloud technology, preferably AWS including serverless services of AWS, strong understanding of quality and testing automation, good communicator, both spoken and written, a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring junior members of the team.
