Merchandiser Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our apparel and home textiles sourcing team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of both woven and knit garments, as well as understanding of fabrics, testing protocols, and garment construction.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer accounts from development, costing, and orders through to production and delivery
  • Coordinating with factories, buyers, QA teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Sourcing fabrics and trims, tracking timelines, and ensuring on-time deliveries
  • Traveling regularly for supplier visits and production follow-ups

Main Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of fabrics, testing protocols, and garment construction
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual
