Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional professional to fill a key leadership role in our Solar Power Plant. The ideal candidate will drive three core pillars: Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) delivery, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) excellence, and business development.

The General Manager will partner closely with the Founder & CEO to establish processes, execute hands-on, and navigate government approvals as we expand our operational footprint.

  • EPC Delivery
    • Design, procurement, and construction of solar installations
    • Vendor and contract management: defining technical specifications, negotiating Letters of Credit (LCs), enforcing quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
    • Cost and schedule control using Primavera/MS Project to monitor budgets and timelines, driving mitigation
    • Government liaison: securing land, grid-connection, environmental and other clearances through applications, site visits, and follow-ups with DISCOMs, MNRE, SNAs, and ministries
  • O&M Excellence
    • Predictive O&M regime with SCADA analytics, preventive maintenance, drone inspections to secure 98% uptime
    • KPI reporting: monthly dashboards for executive review on performance metrics like Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF), availability, and maintenance spend
    • Continuous improvement: process optimizations and cost-reduction initiatives across service providers
  • Business Development and Financing
    • Market and bid strategy: identifying opportunities under government schemes and commercial Requests for Proposals (RFPs); leading bid preparation with competitive technical and financial models
    • Project finance expertise: structuring debt vs equity financing, coordinating term-sheet negotiations, managing subsidy draw-downs, and maintaining Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) targets
    • Stakeholder engagement: cultivating partnerships with farmer cooperatives, DISCOMs, financial institutions, and regulators; supporting investor presentations and due diligence

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in solar or large-scale energy projects, with a proven track record in EPC/O&M/BD leadership and direct government interfacing. They must be proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project, SCADA platforms, and advanced financial modeling in Excel/VBA.
