Lead BIM Specialist

The Lead BIM Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance design, planning, and execution of precast construction projects.

This position supports the business unit's strategic focus on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions by leveraging advanced modeling tools to optimize project workflows, improve accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

  • BIM Model Development: Develop and manage BIM models for precast construction projects with accuracy and compliance to project specifications.
  • Workflow Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • Tekla Software Expertise: Utilize Tekla software to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • BIM Standards and Protocols: Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the business unit.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.

To be successful, the candidate will have a strong portfolio of precast modeling projects, experience in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects, and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies.
