About this role

We are seeking a skilled Garment Developer to join our team.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for translating AI-generated clothing visuals into production-ready garment specifications.

You will play a critical role in converting concept to construct, ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of fit, quality, and style.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret AI-generated fashion designs into detailed tech packs with accurate measurements and construction guidelines.
  • Develop specification sheets covering sizing, fabric type, seam construction, trims, and finishing techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with pattern makers, production, and design teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Establish quality control checkpoints across sampling and production stages.
  • Conduct inspections for measurements, workmanship, and finish during pre-production and post-production reviews.
  • Audit in-housed fabrics and trims; approve only materials meeting quality standards.
  • Set clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction techniques across garments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in garment tech or production development in a fashion house or boutique.
  • Strong technical expertise in fit, finishing, and fabric behavior.
  • Prior experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments is essential.
  • Proficiency in creating spec packs, sample reviews, and garment construction assessments.
  • Eye for detail, precision in communication, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
