Job Title

A leading aviation engineering professional is required to spearhead the development of airfield civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering complex infrastructure design and maintenance projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering professionals, providing technical leadership and direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet client requirements.

The role requires a strong track record of successfully managing multiple technical engineering projects, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AviPlan, SkySafe, and FAARFIELD is desirable but not essential.

Requirements
  • 10 years of civil infrastructure design experience at airports.
  • Strong technical abilities in civil engineering projects, with a focus on airport infrastructure design and maintenance.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals, with a strong track record of delivering technical aviation projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise design information.
  • Competent self-leadership, with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritisation of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts such as NEC 4.
