As an Innovation Protection Specialist, you'll protect our innovations and ensure we stay ahead in the intellectual property landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with engineering and research teams to identify patentable innovations.
  • You will perform prior art searches and analyze patent landscapes to assess novelty and patentability.
  • You will draft patent applications with technical accuracy and clarity.
  • You will liaise with external patent attorneys and IP counsel to prosecute patent applications globally.
  • You will track and manage patent filings and deadlines.
  • You will analyze competitor patents and provide strategic input on IP positioning.
  • You will support freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses.

Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, or IP strategy (preferably in AI or software tech).
  • You have a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, data science, and software development.
  • You have experience conducting prior art searches and using patent databases/tools.
  • You have exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
  • You have exposure to Large Language Models, NLP, computer vision, or edge AI.
