Job Overview

The Credit Audit Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs adhere to sound credit practices. This position involves conducting thorough credit audits, encompassing both pre- and post-sanction processes.

  • Perform comprehensive credit audits of Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs, focusing on pre- and post-sanction procedures.
  • Lead or participate in business credit audits, overseeing a team of auditors and ensuring timely commencement and closure of audits.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports within specified timeframes, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate working papers.
  • Verify data consistency and correctness in audit reports, emphasizing policies, internal guidelines, processes, and risk coverage.
  • Undertake additional assignments such as process reviews, thematic audits, checklists, and special audits, maintaining effective coordination with concurrent auditors.
  • Examine developments in credit-related areas, providing assurance on regulatory and control requirements, and devise audit checklists for internal and concurrent auditors.
  • Collaborate with line management to suggest process and system improvements.
