Senior Software Engineer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Pune, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of enhancements in products, including UI development and product enhancements.
  • Participate in core team meetings and provide inputs on product enhancements, defects, and outstanding technical issues.
  • Write code per functional requirement, design, and architecture.
  • Migrate code to new IDEs (Visual Studio).
  • Analyze and fix incidents/defects.
  • Port/migrate products to new operating systems (e.g., Windows 10).
  • Support products on current Windows OS versions (7, 10).
  • Provide localization support in products (excluding string translations).
  • Ensure product security by following guidelines mutually agreed upon by HP-Mphasis during enhancements/new features design and fixing identified/prioritized issues.
  • Sign and release products.
  • Perform unit testing for source code added/modified.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with C++, ATL, COM & Windows Services technologies.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Good knowledge of Windows programming (registry, certificates, file and folder security, WMI, threads, sockets, and system programming).
  • Familiarity with InstallShield, Windows application deployment, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of C#, WPF, UWP app development (valuable add).
  • Strong understanding of libraries and frameworks.
  • Awareness of Agile methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with global teams.
