Highly Skilled Software Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in creating high-quality requirement specifications and designing reporting workflows.
This is a key role that requires 50% technical and 50% functional involvement. You will be responsible for contributing to good software design, analyzing software defects, and articulating issues and risks to team leads.
The successful candidate will also have experience working with regulatory reporting platforms, preferably with 4+ years of relevant experience. They should be proficient in RDBMS and performance tuning of complex SQL queries in big data databases.
This role involves hands-on software development, system integration testing, and requirement specification review. You will work closely with the functional analysis and quality assurance teams to complete tasks efficiently.
Additional responsibilities include participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies, mentoring junior team members, and managing daily stand-up meetings. Experience with workflow and job schedule management tools is highly desirable.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- 12+ years of IT experience, preferably with 4+ years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting platforms
- 6-8 years of experience in financial domains, including risk management, capital markets, investment banking, and derivatives
- Liquidity - LCR implementation and risk - BASEL implementation
- Working knowledge of financial data modeling and analysis
Beyond these requirements, we encourage applicants who have additional skills or certifications related to data taxonomy, local regulatory reporting data modeling, and Agile methodology delivery.
