Data Engineer Role

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop sophisticated algorithms that uncover unique insights from our data.
  • Employ agile software development methodologies to make iterative enhancements to our back-end systems.
  • Model front-end and back-end data sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of user flows throughout the system, enabling powerful data analysis.
  • Design and implement data pipelines that cleanse, transform, and aggregate data from diverse sources.
  • Develop predictive models that answer critical business questions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with Big Data & Cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud's BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, R).
  • Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting language expertise.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
  • ETL process design and maintenance experience.
  • Professional certification.
