Data Engineering Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join our organization as a cloud-based data solutions architect. In this role, you will design and build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data platforms.

  • Design and Build: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data platforms.
  • Manage Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize Data Storage: Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming: Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Database: Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres SQL, Bigquery, Stored Procedure / Routines is necessary.
  • ETL & Integration: Experience with AecorSoft, Talend, DBT, Databricks (Optional), Fivetran is beneficial.
  • Data Warehousing: Understanding of SCD, Schema Types, Data Mart is essential.
  • Visualization: Familiarity with PowerBI (Optional), Tableau (Optional), Looker is advantageous.
  • GCP Cloud Services: Knowledge of Big Query, GCS is required.
