Network Documentation Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a structured documentation framework within Confluence for our network across multiple sites.

  • Establish templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines.
  • Convert existing data into standardized templates and train the team on maintaining and expanding the documentation.

This role involves working closely with the network team to gather existing data, convert designs into standardized templates, and create clear, consistent documentation and templates that are easy to maintain and update.

The primary focus is to establish an intuitive and easy-to-navigate setup that seamlessly integrates into our standard build process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence.
  • Create standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
  • Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites and serve as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.

This position requires strong experience with network documentation, designing structured documentation frameworks, and using Confluence as a documentation platform.
