Business Data Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced data analyst with a strong background in business intelligence and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP HANA, Snowflake, or similar technologies.

This role plays a critical part in our migration strategy from HANA to Snowflake, ensuring seamless transition, data integrity, and performance optimization.

The selected professional will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, collaborating closely with data architects, developers, and stakeholders.


About the Job:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and collate analytics and reporting needs
  • Analyze feasibility of requirements and conduct studies
  • Identify source systems, data sets, and tables needed to fulfill requirements
  • Create detailed business requirement documents and functional design documents
  • Perform unit testing of solutions and facilitate communication between business and IT teams
  • Support deployment of technical solutions to production and identify continuous improvement opportunities


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain business processes
  • Experienced in working on analytics-related projects and implementations
  • Good exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
