Lead Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Architect to spearhead architectural projects. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise, ensure design standards are met, and lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:

The Senior Lead Architect will be responsible for leading architectural projects from conception to completion. This includes developing project briefs, conducting site analyses, and collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement architectural design strategies, ensuring creative, functional designs that comply with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Oversee project progress, coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Ensure alignment between architectural design and construction feasibility, budgets, and schedules.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring all designs comply with these requirements.
  • Promote sustainable design practices and materials in architectural solutions, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and innovations to integrate into designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect (RA or equivalent certification) is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in architectural design, with a proven track record in leading complex projects.
  • Extensive experience working with architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with US-specific building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural design and drafting, with excellent attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of US building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
