The role of Sr. Program Manager is pivotal in ensuring the success and effective implementation of projects, as well as stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for critical project decisions.
  • Manages stakeholders, including senior officials, partners, and governments to achieve desired project outcomes.
  • Monitors project timelines, progress, risks, dependencies, and delegates responsibilities effectively.
  • Develops strategic and short-term project plans utilizing tools for monitoring progress and managing escalations.

Cross-functional Support:

  • Leads collaboration across teams to ensure sufficient backend support and internal alignment.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends contributing to organizational learning.
  • Documents program activities, monitors data, develops case studies, and compiles evidence of outcomes.
  • Reviews expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets and implements an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to managing projects involving senior government functionaries.
  • Proficient in data monitoring and analysis with strong ability to interpret and utilize data.
  • Excellent project management skills, including creating and executing strategic and short-term project plans.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex landscapes.
  • Capacity to work under pressure with tight timelines, adapt to changing project requirements, and ensure timely deliverables.
