Cloud Security Engineer Job Description:

Develop innovative, high-end Cloud-based security solutions with our agile team.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge network security products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of advanced network security solutions using industry-leading technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of product functionality and architecture.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of technical documentation, standards, and protocols to resolve complex issues.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in the product reported by QA teams or customers, providing actionable solutions.
  • Document design and test plans, ensuring transparency and consistency throughout development activities.
  • Foster effective communication with team members, including QA teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  2. 3-6 years of software development or testing experience in Networking Systems.
  3. Proficiency in writing and comprehending C/C++ and/or Python code.
  4. Possession of a strong passion for building a career in embedded systems, networking, and network security.
  5. Good academic record and strong reading comprehension skills.
  6. Ability to operate Linux and Windows operating system commands and related applications.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Client Server Programming knowledge.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong debugging skills and ability to inspect packet captures.
  • Understanding of Linux boot loaders, kernel compilation, and networking stack internals.
  • Knowledge of one or more protocols used in Network Security systems, such as Radius, Diameter, LDAP, DHCP, ARP, DNS.
  • Familiarity with VPN, AAA, ACL, VLAN technologies.
  • Working knowledge of deployment of Virtual Machines, such as Vmware.
  • Good understanding of Database concepts and working knowledge with Oracle/PLSQL/Postgres.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter, and highly motivated.
