Security Expert for Embedded Products

The Security Expert for Embedded Products role involves leading the security testing of embedded products, ensuring their resilience to potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security testing of embedded products, identifying and reporting on vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement effective security strategies to mitigate risks, leveraging tools such as Burp suite/ZAP, BDBA, SAST, DAST, Fuzzing, and VA tools like Nessus or Rapid7.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into product development life cycles, adhering to ISA/IEC 62443-4-1 Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, continuously enhancing expertise in areas like test automation scripting, daily activity planning, and Microsoft Threat Modelling tool.
  • Participate in Capture the Flag (CTF) cybersecurity contests, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Penetration Testing, Application Security, QA, Network/IoT, or Offer Testing roles.
  • Familiarity with test automation scripting tools or languages, daily activity planning tools such as Atlassian or JIRA.
  • Proven experience in Embedded Product Cybersecurity testing.
