Senior ASIC Front End Implementation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced senior-level engineer to lead our team in designing and implementing high-quality Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) using industry-standard tools.

  • Perform RTL synthesis using industry-standard tools such as Synopsys DC/Genus/Fusion Compiler or equivalent, ensuring repeatable and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain synthesis scripts, flows, and methodology to ensure efficient design implementation.
  • Create and validate timing constraints (SDC) for block and top-level synthesis, optimizing for area, power, and performance.
  • Collaborate with RTL design engineers to ensure coding styles are synthesis-friendly, providing feedback on optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct linting, formal checks, and equivalence checking (LEC) to ensure correctness of synthesized netlists.
  • Support early design exploration (area, power, timing trade-offs) and provide feedback to architecture and RTL teams.
  • Work closely with physical design teams to ensure clean handoff, focusing on timing closure and constraint alignment.
  • Debug and resolve synthesis and timing issues across hierarchical and flat design contexts, automating where possible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in ASIC design and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in RTL synthesis, design implementation, and physical design.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard tools such as Synopsys DC/Genus/Fusion Compiler.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to debug and resolve complex design issues.
