Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design implementation group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large ASICs with complexities ranging from 100 to 400 million gates.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large ASICs (100 to 400 million gates complexity)
- Utilize leading edge physical design EDA tools for project execution
- Develop in-depth knowledge of CPU/DSP architecture/algorithm, with related physical design implementation expertise highly advantageous
- Work with integrated circuits in various process technologies (7nm/5nm/3nm/2nm)
- Familiarity with VLSI design tools (Place & Route, Verilog simulation, DRC/LVS verification, timing analysis, scripting languages) highly advantageous
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems an asset
- Relevant work experience in physical design implementation of large ASICs
- Strong technical competency in using leading edge physical design EDA tools
- In-depth knowledge of CPU/DSP architecture/algorithm, with related physical design implementation knowledge highly advantageous
