Manual Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Manual QA Engineer with e-commerce platform experience. The ideal candidate has strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows, including product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

  • Review system specifications and business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality throughout development lifecycle
  • Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile platforms
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems
