Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing databases on cloud and on-premises environments, supporting and maintaining several database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in shift model (24/7) and provide on-call support during weekends and holidays.
  • Support application release activities, handle day-to-day issues like user access, performance tuning, backup and recovery, standby management, migrations, etc.
  • Design, build optimized cost-effective fault-tolerant database solutions.
  • Handle homogenous and heterogenous database migration using golden gate, datapump, DMS, pgdump, pg restore, logical replication, dataguard, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience with Oracle database as a DBA.
  • 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
  • 2 years of experience in managing Oracle RDS.
  • Experience in Oracle database migration and management in AWS RDS, EC2.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle 19c, Oracle Dataguard, RMAN, any cloning software, NetApp, Delphix, RAC, Performance Tuning.

  • Experience in automation with Python.
  • Experience with infrastructure coding tools preferably Terraform.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience in any OS clustering.
  • Experience with AWS Aurora clusters.
