Responsibilities
  • Design and develop databases, including architecture, engineering, and administration.
  • Model and develop big data systems, including Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development and storage engineering.
  • Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand architectural impact and data acquisition.
  • Design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting, and support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Azure Databricks, datafactory, airflow, Spark, Scala, SQOOP, and Kafka.
  • Proficient in coding, testing, implementing, debugging, and documenting complex Spark Jobs.
  • Good hands-on experience in setting up Kafka streams and consuming from Kafka streams.
  • Experience in RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, DB2 etc.
  • Good knowledge in Unix and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of databricks, datafactory, Spark Architecture.
  • Understanding of QA and testing automation process.
  • Proven ability to resolve moderate problems associated with designed programs and provides technical guidance on complex programming.
