Strategic Mining Expert

Evaluate and develop comprehensive strategies for the mining sector to promote investment and drive production growth. This involves providing expert advice on mining areas, supporting regulatory frameworks, and conducting research on regional industry trends, opportunities, and challenges.

About the Role:

This is a highly analytical and strategic role that requires working closely with government/public companies and local communities to promote sustainable practices and build strong relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of mining areas, including exploration, resource evaluation, mine development, and beneficiation.

  • Develop and implement performance metrics to track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and intellectual property related to mining sector trends and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining fields or related field; MBAs preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mining industry and overall experience of minimum 8 years in research and consulting.

  • In-depth knowledge of mining areas, including exploration, resource evaluation, mine development, and beneficiation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions to optimize mining operations.
