Finance Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial accounting of various segments, ensuring accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Oversee monthly closing and ensure timely reporting of financial numbers to management.
  • Plan, execute, and close Quarterly Statuary Audits proactively, improving controls and minimizing issues.
  • Prepare BS disclosures on a periodical basis, ensuring correct and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines, applying them effectively in business scenarios.
  • Coordinate closely with finance teams for timely closing and reporting of financials.
  • Ensure correct segmental reporting and eliminate group transactions properly.
  • Review monthly closing checklists and ensure thorough reviews of all BS items periodically.
  • Provide internal reporting of BS KPIs to management, driving informed decision-making.
  • Lead and supervise a team of professionals, motivating and coaching them through role clarification and feedback.
  • End-to-end responsibility for closure of Financial Statements of Parent company and Indian subsidiaries.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations, CARO, and legislations.
  • Examine financial reports and data closely, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Requirements:

A Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance is required. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting guidelines and standards, CARO, and related regulations.
  • People managerial skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Cross-functional and cross-cultural appreciation, driving effective communication.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, aligning strategies and systems to business needs.
  • Ability to empower and develop personnel within the department, promoting growth and development.
