Murex Expertise Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Murex Expertise Specialist.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the implementation of Murex 3.1 in various projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and verify implementations.
  • Analyze complex Murex implementation experiences and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and test database and infrastructure changes, guaranteeing data integrity and system stability.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes, identifying potential risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
  • Write detailed documentation of issues and resolutions in Confluence, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with business users across the bank, providing expert guidance and support in resolving critical issues.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring prompt fixes and solutions.
  • Act as an intermediary between business and vendors, fostering effective communication and resolution.
  • Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation, driving efficiency and scalability.
