Job Opportunity: Automation Test Engineer

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Steel Melting Shop by executing maintenance activities and commissioning equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to showcase their technical expertise and strategic planning skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance activities in the Steel Melting Shop
  • Commission BOF, Laddle Furnace, Degasser, Hot Metal Desulphurization equipment
  • Offer technical support to maintenance teams
  • Organize and plan daily maintenance activities
  • Develop work instructions and methods
  • Create plant preventative maintenance procedures
  • Schedule routine maintenance of plant equipment/instruments
  • Manage project materials and manpower
  • Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications
  • Document daily progress reports and maintenance logs
  • Maintain deep knowledge in Siemens PLC Automation (Siemens PLC- S7-300/400/400H/1200/1500)
  • Troubleshoot faults in control/instrumentation cable between PLC, RIO panel, and field devices
  • Have knowledge of Electrical control systems, Server Hardware, and automation software
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, replace parts/components
  • Familiar with safety procedures while carrying out electrical work
  • Ensure good coordination and communication with Team members and Client
  • Familiar with Report preparation, PPT & Excel

Requirements

  • Minimum 5/2 years experience preferably in Siemens PLC Automation, Network servers along with Bachelor's degree in Commuter/Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics engineering
  • Experience in commissioning of Siemens Automation system
  • Steel Plant experience mandatory
