ICT & Telecommunications Engineer (Design and Development)


As an ICT & Telecommunications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge telecommunications designs. This includes detailed designs for ICT & Telecommunications Systems, including structured cabling systems, communications rooms, outside plant infrastructure, active ICT networks, wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modeling, RF systems, and technology platforms.

 

You will be responsible for preparing reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works. This involves liaising with other engineers, vendors, and contractors throughout the project duration.

 

The successful candidate will also mentor junior and graduate engineers and work within a multi-discipline design team. They must possess extensive experience in leading, producing, and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs, preferably in the Asia Pacific, USA, Middle East, or UK.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network design principles and significant experience working within critical environments. They should have detailed knowledge on the design and integration of various systems and subsystems, including telecommunications networks, structured cablign systems, active network design, server and SAN solutions, firewalls, radio systems, MPLS, IP-CCTV systems, EN54 Public Address and Voice Alarm Systems, integrated station/building management systems, customer information systems, IP-based access control systems, multi-mode intruder detection systems, and wireless network architecture.
