Dynamic Web Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled web developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and the WordPress ecosystem, with experience in developing and maintaining advanced Gutenberg blocks.

  • Work within a custom WordPress engine (themes, plugins, internal tools).
  • Develop and maintain complex Gutenberg blocks, leveraging hooks, APIs, and custom theme logic.
  • Optimize database queries and code execution (profiling, debugging, chasing wasted milliseconds and memory leaks).
  • Integrate with REST APIs and support microservices.
  • Collaborate daily in Docker/Podman environments (WP-CLI, container operations, Linux commands).

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires over 4 years of web development experience. As a skilled developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving our custom WordPress engine.
  • Developing and integrating new features and services.
  • Collaborating with designers and front-end integrators to ensure seamless user experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in PHP and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Strong SQL skills and proven experience optimizing queries for performance.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.
  • React experience, especially for Gutenberg block development.
  • Comfortable with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments.
  • A performance-minded developer: profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution.
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end integrators.
