Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Proficient in various AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, etc.
  • Set up ECS/EKS clusters, configure deployments, and implement performance-based scaling.
  • Skilled in automating infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Develop new environments based on specific landing page requirements and industry best practices.
  • Configure AWS IAM roles, policies, and user groups.
  • Experience with setting up RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and managing intranet user access.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Network configurations using services such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc.
  • DevOps and CI/CD processes expertise.
  • Strong background in cost analysis and resource optimization.
  • Knowledgeable in using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for granular cost insights.
  • AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management.
  • Monitor AWS environments using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines.
  • Document SOPs, create knowledge bases, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively as a proactive and supportive team player.
