Transforming the world of DevOps, we are seeking an exceptional Critical Infrastructure Specialist, someone who can spearhead the design and implementation of scalable Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions.

This role involves creating reusable and modular workflow templates using composite actions and reusable workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing GitHub self-hosted runners, including autoscaling and hardening, to guarantee high-performance delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, incorporating industry best practices for efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and develop reusable workflow templates using composite actions and reusable workflows, streamlining team workflows and enhancing productivity.
  • Optimize GitHub self-hosted runners, including autoscaling and hardening, to ensure high-performance delivery and efficient resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD performance through caching, parallelism, and proper dependency management.
  • Analyze existing Azure DevOps pipeline templates and migrate them to GitHub Actions, adapting tasks to equivalent GitHub workflows.
  • Implement cluster and pod-level autoscaling, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
  • Evaluate and implement security, networking, and high-availability configurations for Kubernetes clusters, safeguarding sensitive data and applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, ensuring consistency and reliability in infrastructure deployments.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in DevOps roles, providing extensive expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, composite actions, and self-hosted runners, totaling at least 3 years.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with AKS, encompassing knowledge of autoscaling, networking, and security.
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and automation, leveraging industry best practices for efficiency and scalability.
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows, enabling streamlined collaboration across teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep for IaC, ensuring consistent and reliable infrastructure deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and YAML configurations, facilitating seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Bash, and at least one scripting language, preferably Python, for efficient and scalable solution development.
