Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Storage Infrastructure Specialist to manage our storage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in NetApp and Hitachi storage systems, as well as strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To design, implement and maintain Netapp storage systems including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades and storage provisioning.
  • To add disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and high availability controllers.
  • To configure and manage DR replications via snapmirror.
  • To configure and manage vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools.
  • To provide operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy.
  • To use an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details such as Service Now.
  • To handle Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues
  • To check Storage Critical Events
  • To be responsible for day-to-day storage tasks and changes and incidents in storage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in storage administration.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.
  • Experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc).
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS and NFS technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, as well as industry good practice frameworks such as ITIL, Agile etc
