Salesforce MuleSoft Integration Specialist

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to become part of our dynamic team, working on the design and development of APIs, integrations, and data flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into integration solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. You will also implement API-led connectivity following MuleSoft best practices, create technical documentation, API specifications (RAML/OAS), and deployment guides.

Additionally, you will conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimisation, collaborate with Salesforce teams to ensure seamless data and process integration, and provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and develop APIs, integrations, and data flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Translate business requirements into integration solutions.
  • Implement API-led connectivity following MuleSoft best practices.
  • Create technical documentation, API specifications (RAML/OAS), and deployment guides.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce teams to ensure seamless data and process integration.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years dedicated to MuleSoft development and systems integration.
  • Hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, API Designer, and API Manager.
  • Strong understanding of API-led architecture and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
  • Proven experience building RESTful and SOAP APIs, including API security and governance.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave transformations and Mule 4 development.
  • Knowledge of common integration protocols (HTTP, JMS, FTP/SFTP, JDBC) and cloud connectors.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
  • Experience with CloudHub deployments and monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of security patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
  • Excellent communication skills to enable effective working with UK stakeholders in a remote team setup.
  • Appropriate MuleSoft Developer certification.
