Pricing Strategist

This role involves driving the profitability of our organization by delivering thorough and competitive cost/pricing analysis in bid and proposal processes. The successful candidate must be able to manage the overall cost/pricing process, ensuring effective analysis of customer requirements, development of competitive bid pricing and contribution to winning proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
  • Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client level P&L, objectives and KPIs
  • Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments
  • Work with sales and delivery teams to define pricing structure for services offered
  • Able to effectively read and understand technical/requirement documents as well as legal documents

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 5-8 years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Proven experience developing clear and accurate deliverables from SME and technical source materials
  • Prior experience building pricing models
  • Must be able to think critically and develop well-reasoned analysis; identify the relevance and importance of information, understand logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically and creatively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capability to build consensus and partnership
