Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and create technical specifications.
  • Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architecture.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare or similar).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms is beneficial.
