Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Senior Strategic Financial Planner to oversee financial planning and analysis for our global operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and financial metrics knowledge. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and drive high-level decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans, forecasts and models to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, analyze and present financial results, trends and key performance indicators.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs, track performance and drive operational efficiency.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver presentations and dashboards to support board meetings and executive reviews.
  • Scenario Modeling: Develop financial models to assess business scenarios and investment opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance financial planning processes, tools and systems to increase forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certified Accountant (CA) or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with 20 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping with ERP/accounting software experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • D365, Adaptive, Blackline software experience.
  • Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodologies experience.
  • Cross-functional project management experience.
