  • We are seeking an experienced Application Performance Engineer to join our organization.
  • This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing applications to ensure they meet the required performance standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • They will also have experience in troubleshooting user issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying recurring issues.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Monitoring and analyzing application performance using Dynatrace and Splunk.
    • Identifying and resolving application issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
    • Defining and fine-tuning alerts for application monitoring.
    • Integrating Dynatrace alerts with incident management tooling.
    • Collaborating with application and platform teams to optimize application performance.
    • Providing technical support and guidance to application developers.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in application monitoring and optimization.
    • Expertise in Dynatrace setup and configuration.
    • Experience in operational application management.
    • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
    • Ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting.
    • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
    • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
