Job Title

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for processing transactions, events or data within a functional team.

This may involve time-critical, complex or regulated tasks, including interaction with internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Ensure timely, complete and accurate processing of transactions, including performing relevant controls, within own area of responsibility.
  • Policies and Regulations: Apply all internal and external policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and quality measures.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide a point of contact within the Global Business Services (GBS) functional team for time-critical, complex or regulated tasks.
  • Product Development: Provide input to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in response to changing client needs and market trends.
  • Risk Management: Escalate operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate, and contribute to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within own team, providing support and guidance to colleagues to create an environment of continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, with reconciliation experience being an added advantage.
  • Product Knowledge: Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate.
  • Virtual Teamwork: Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
  • Team Player: Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and matrix organizations.
  • Technical Innovation: Ability to work in fast-paced environments, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the GBS offering.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Open-minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.

  • TLM Experience: Reconciliation, Trade Lifecycle Management (TLM), Domain Knowledge - Investment Bank.
