Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vulnerability analysis and penetration testing of embedded products to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Perform firmware code reverse engineering and device security hardening to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols to protect industrial communication networks from unauthorized access and malicious activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development cycles.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues in security-related topics to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Primary Qualifications:
    • Experience in vulnerability analysis and penetration testing of embedded products.
    • Strong knowledge of firmware reverse engineering techniques and device security hardening methods.
    • Understanding of secure coding practices and the ability to apply them to C/C++ code reviews.
    • Knowledge of security protocols such as HTTPS, HSTS, TLS, and SSH.
    • Experience with static analysis tools and their application in identifying security vulnerabilities.
    • Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer or electronics engineering, or a related field, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are highly valued but not required.
