Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating quality work packs, guided by work orders, in alignment with the Planning and Scheduling Playbook standard.

The role involves planning routine corrective and preventative maintenance work, clearly identifying tasks needed by craft and contractors, access equipment and materials to complete the job safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Planner continuously improves the accuracy and quality of work plans based on feedback from the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Area Team and SMEs to evaluate and determine required scope of work.
  • Determines the materials, resources, special tools, services and sequential steps that result in quality job packages per the requirements set in the Job Package Checklist.
  • Manages backlog within their area of responsibility to clean up and prioritize work based on guidelines set in the Planning and Scheduling Playbook.
  • Plans work orders from the backlog based on priority as set in the Planning and Scheduling Playbook.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated craft execution competency.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior planning experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Maximo, Meridium, Dolphin, ALIM, Cascade, POPV, SPI, SharePoint, Shared Drives and Nitro.
