Job Overview

We're seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This position involves designing, implementing and optimizing network services and solutions to ensure the best experience possible for associates and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, implement and optimize LAN/WAN/WiFi networks
  • Manage network services and circuit capacity
  • Plan and deliver projects including hardware and software specification, vendor coordination, and operational turnover
  • Collaborate with other teams including Architects, Test and Certification, Information Security, Finance, Procurement, etc.
  • Develop and execute new initiatives to simplify, standardize, optimize, and automate network designs, tooling, and operations

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure
  • Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms including policy configuration, site provisioning, and performance tuning
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast
  • Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools
  • Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead network design and implementation projects independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work non-standard hours during change implementations and service restoration efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating or leveraging automation, AI and machine learning to deploy and manage networks
  • Development and deployment of virtualized network services
  • Understanding of cloud networking solutions and cloud interconnects
  • Vendor experience with Cisco LAN / WAN / WiFi; HPE/Mist WiFi; Palo Alto Networks FW and SDWA NetScout, Thousand Eyes, NetMRI, ServiceNow, Oracle SBCs and VOIP
  • Exposure to and familiarization with CCaaS environments

Education and Certifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience/certification
