Job Title

Sr. Project Manager - Skid Operations

Description:

This role oversees the management of Skid projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of fabrication practices and extensive experience in project management.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and lead a team of project coordinators and engineers to achieve project milestones.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Analyze project requirements and create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  4. Collaborate with design teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Oversee capacity planning, material requirements planning, and inventory management to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  6. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
  • 15-20 years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of static equipment or boiler pressure parts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage commercial aspects.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASME, IBR, and EN codes, with the ability to apply this knowledge to identify best suppliers and specifications.
  • Experience with MS Project, Primevera, and other project management tools.
  • Able to review and analyze technical documents to identify scope of work and develop project plans.
