High-Performance Digital Design Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced digital design specialist to join our advanced hardware development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital circuit design, VHDL, and Verilog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance FPGA-based solutions for real-time systems
  • Write, simulate, and verify RTL code using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog
  • Perform functional verification, debugging, and testbench development using industry-standard simulators
  • Run complete FPGA development flows including synthesis, place, route, timing closure, and resource optimization
  • Integrate FPGA modules with embedded processors, microcontrollers, and external interfaces
  • Work on communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, I2C, AXI, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in digital circuit design and verification
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
  • Proficiency with FPGA vendor toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Lattice Diamond
  • Experience with simulation tools, ModelSim, QuestaSim, XSIM, etc.
  • Solid understanding of digital circuit fundamentals, clock domain crossing, and timing analysis
  • Exposure to communication protocols, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, AXI, SPI, I2C

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in high-speed FPGA design, e.g., trading systems, DSP, or signal processing
  • Knowledge of C, C++, or Python for test automation and FPGA software integration
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, ARM, RISC-V, MicroBlaze, Nios II
  • Experience with SystemVerilog UVM or similar verification methodologies
  • Exposure to algorithm acceleration and hardware-software co-design
