Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Plant Quality Head to oversee quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility.

This role ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team of quality professionals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain product reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor quality processes across all stages of production from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve quality objectives.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Testing and Validation: Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests and temperature rise tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
  • Customer Interface: Act as primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training programs on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management with leadership role in electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in quality tools like FMEA and root cause analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
