Job Title: Supply Chain Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock replenishment across assigned areas of our supply chain network.
  • Define Safety stock norms and maintain optimal stock levels to manage uncertainties in demand & supply.
  • Deliver fill rates (OTIF) at all CFAs across the country.
  • Ensure On Time Finished Goods delivery of Consumer promotions, new launches, and season plans in alignment with our demand & supply team.
  • Maintain high stock Freshness across all CFAs and develop strategies to reduce Stock Levels Outside Brief (SLOB).

Main Tasks and/or Projects:

  • Align with Logistics team on Dispatch schedule and release dispatch plan.
  • Ensure high truck utilization for all vehicle movements – Reduce transportation cost.
  • Ensure on time dispatches and manage stock levels in the CFAs to avoid sales loss or stock outs.
  • Pro-actively identify current gaps in service levels (Case Fill, Delivery performance, service network) and suggest improvement plans.
  • NPD, promotion & season plans: Align plan schedules with demand team and ensure distribution within timelines.
  • Maintain required stock freshness in all the CFAs – Highlight SLOB risks and manage liquidation in collaboration with sales & marketing teams.
  • Provide forward requirement visibility to Supply team to ensure stock availability.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Fill rate, Stock Freshness, SLOB control / reduction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA – Operations/B.E., Field of Study – Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service in Supply.
  • 2–4 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Planning & Distribution in FMCG industry.
